Asare is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Degree in Computer Science. Asare has more than Twenty (20) years of experience and training at various levels in the information Technology in Ghana. Asare was the Head of Computer training at Global Computers from 1994-1998. He was seconded to head the sister company in Banjul, The Gambia in 1995.
Asare has received HP Networking training in South Africa in 2003. Asare specializes in Microsoft products and has undertaken all the system courses in Microsoft and HP networking.
He has received training on Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, 2003, 2008, Active Directory services and Server Administration.
Asare has further training in Pastel Accounting software in South Africa in 2002 and 2003 respectively. He is a certified Pastel Instructor as well. In 2010, Asare undergone laboratory equipment workshop in Hamburg, Germany.
He attended Microsoft World Partner Conferences (WPC) and training in California, USA and Toronto, Canada in 2011 and 2012 respectively on Microsoft latest state of the art technologies. He also had advanced Microsoft training in Texas, USA - 2013.
Asare has managed and supervised major projects in Ministry of Education, GETFund, NCTE, KNUST, University for Development Studies (UDS), Kumasi Polytechnic, Sunyani Polytechnic, University of Education (Kumasi campus), Ghana Revenue Authority Data Center (Primary & DR Site), ARB Apex Bank Data Center converged infrastructure system among others.
